“We stayed at the Residence Inn in Mettawa for roughly 3 weeks while we waited to close on our house. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is good (same thing every morning, so can get redundant), and the staff was super friendly. Jared was the best though. He was very helpful when we arrived a day earlier than planned and made sure that we had the best room to suit our families needs (2 adults and 2 younger children). I would recommend staying here, although it isn't walkable nor close to public transport. The weekends can get busy between families coming for Navy boot camp graduation and lots of teenage boys traveling for sports. Great place for the cost.”
