  Super awesome store. It seems so inconspicuous from the outside but one you get it, it's like woah, there's a LOT of stuff in here. Almost a small grocery store. I guess you might call it a "mini market." Except it sells more than candy, chips, and energy drinks. Really unique little quirk about this little Illinois town.

  One of my favorite stores! I love the emphasis on Norwegian culture and fare. The restaurant, where we had breakfast, was superb. I had French toast and loved it. And the store is huge, with so much variety. There are always special types of food on offer. I also liked the history of the store and the Norwegian community of the area - a history proudly displayed via mementos on the walls. Definitely a place not to miss!

Nice place. Has OLD wooden plank floor - wouldn't be surprised if it was 100 years old. If you ask the cashier if it is the "world famous Norway Store", she curtsies and says "welcome". :) As others have noted, it's called the Norway Store, so it almost has to have Scandinavian stuff and it does. Food, T-shirts, coffee mugs, cookbooks, etc.
