John Hicks Maytag

Refrigerator died on Thanksgiving day. The next day went to Hicks bought a new one and they delivered it within an hour. Great place and people.

Walked in on Friday morning needing a new washer and dryer. By 3pm same day I had both installed and working at my home. Great experience. Don't give your money to a big box , high pressure sale person in some town that has never heard of Macoupin County. Shop local , and know your in good hands with Hicks Maytag.

Every single employee that we dealt with recently from this business went above and beyond in helping us. A few years ago we called on them to repair our dryer when no one locally (Litchfield) would help us because we hadn't purchased from them. Had an issue recently with our refrigerator and encountered the same local result, so we gave Hicks a call and they made every attempt to make the repair for us. In the end we decided to just buy a new refrigerator and after a few days we decided to replace all of our appliances so they would match and were happy to give them all of our business. Their helpfulness and kindness in helping us get everything we need has resulted in complete loyalty to them from us. They will always get our business. Thank you so much!

I called Hicks Maytag to get my dishwasher serviced. I found out that mine was hard to buy parts for. I asked about buying a new one. They had one white dishwasher left. She offered to send me pictures by text. I checked with Lowe’s online and couldn’t get the same model for three months. I was glad to support a local business in my county that is family owned. I installed the dishwasher and had it washing dishes in a short time. I have used them before to repair my refrigerator and I will definitely call them first with any future appliance problems.
