Castelli's Restaurant at 255

Castelli's was my Grandmothers favorite restaurant! It's a staple in Alton. They give you large portions, enough to take home every time! Ive enjoyed everything I've ordered. The only thing I wish they would change is the bread. It's never warm bread, it's always cold or cool. That's the only thing I don't like. Would be nice if they could serve you warm bread.

This is always a great meal! And their HOUSE DRESSING is the BEST!!!! Didn't have to wait to long for our table. Food was good as always and the waitress was persistent. Highly recommend!

My family has been dining at Castelli's Restaurant for over 30 years. This past week we held a 90th birthday celebration for my mom and booked the gathering in the banquet room. The food is always great at this local favorite restaurant, and the overall experience during this banquet celebration was 'off the chart' awesome. Thank you, Lana, and the whole team who made this evening so wonderfully delightful for my mom and her guests. The food was served family style and everything was perfectly set up. What a feast with everyone bragging about how delicious everything was - served hot with enough food to feed an army! We are so grateful for the attention given in providing mom with such a memorable evening. She says she'd like to do it again when she turns 100 so we'll need to book the banquet room for June 19, 2031. In the meantime, we'll be back many times to dine in the main dining room. Thank you.

My son hosted a 90th birthday party for me at Castelli's this past weekend. It was held in the banquet room and I can't even begin to express my gratitude for such a wonderful event. The food was great (as usual), the service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond in making this a memorable evening for me. Thank you.

Other than the atmosphere being outdated it was an exceptional experience! Staff was fantastic and the service was quick. Food was a step above perfect. Good place for family dining as well.
