The owner retired and the business is closed. My business was referred to a locksmith in Collinsville, IL I was always very pleased with the former owners work.

Got locked out of my apartment, I gave them a call & they had someone there within 30 minutes. So very grateful for them & they even fixed my front door (it had been installed upside down). All of that for a great price. Thank you!

I would 100% recommend A1 Security Specialist for your key repairs. My daughter had a key break away from the key fob and she was stuck without being able to start her car in a parking lot. When we called the owner, he pretty much rearranged his schedule to help out and considered it an emergency situation. We were able to walk in and wait while the key was fixed, and when the first attempt at fixing it didn't work, he went onsite to where the car was to fix it (at no extra charge) and even threw in an extra fob for us. Cannot thank them enough for their help. It can be difficult to find such an attentive business who goes above and beyond for their customers like this. Very friendly, prompt, affordable, and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend using them before going anywhere else.

Outstanding service! We have a Miata with one of the programmable keys. The key lost programming and no longer worked. We didn’t want to take it to the dealer so asked if he could get and program a new key After several attempts ( not his fault, but a faulty product from his supplier) he was able to program not one, but two new keys at half the cost of the dealer. Very courteous, considerate and professional. Will send business his way at every opportunity.

Jason ground a new key for my motorcycle and repaired a improperly ground spare that another location attempted, keep in mind - motorcycle keys are very different from auto keys and many people won't touch these. He was quick, knew exactly where adjustments needed to be made, and professional. The end result was me having two spare keys that work great, and a new locksmith I will always go to now.
