    Nice riding experience, Long enough for a day ride and connects to even longer trails.

    Love this trail! Difficult to find when riding along the riverfront greenway trail so google maps is essential. Uses a dedicated bike bridge to cross the Mississippi. Cuts through Venice, a tiny town in IL, which is nice, but there’s no stoplights or signs. Hard to navigate so Maps is a must.

    Once there it’s fantastic. Silent and serene. One of the few trails I’ve been on that is nowhere near a road so there’s zero human noise pollution. Just birds and wildlife. I love it. The main trail splits into a bunch of smaller trails once at the fast food hub past Horseshoe Lake.

    Bathrooms, fishing, covered picnic areas can be found at Horseshoe Lake.
