This guy has stuff that other plumbing supply and hardware stores don’t have. If you need an odd nut or bolt walk in show it too him and he’ll grab you one. You don’t have to walk 10 miles searching through a giant store to get what you need. His prices are fair too! This store is part of what makes Alton special, he does a giant service to his community and places like this are a National treasure, not many left. Go do business at Bo’s hardware and you’ll find out what the good old days were about!”

“This place is AMAZING!!!! I had brought one of my trucks in to a different dealership in Springfield it had some warranty work done, unfortunately did not catch all the issues the first time around. Have no fear Bryan is here. Probably one of the best service managers that I’ve ever dealt with with any of my fleet trucks. He reassured me that the issue would be resolved, and then it would all be covered under warranty. Not only that but he had someone from the shop drive my driver to the hotel and pick him back up from the hotel. What a nice facility, and extremely well trained representatives of this business.”

The only time waster is taking your purchases home to try them on, and then driving back to return them when they don't turn out as expected (which is a frequent occurrence when you can't try things on in advance). “They are really known for the meat, but I like them for a lot more than that. Their deli is phenomenal (they have hush puppies, which is really unique). Their lunch platter is so good. I think their deli is a hidden gem, they have a good variety and it always tastes great. I can’t really express how good their lunch platter is (I got 2 pieces of chicken, 2 sides, and a roll with butter for around $8). I also just like the small town grocery store feel and this store is 100% a small town grocery store. They also have a lot of random things. They have milk in glass containers that can be recycled and Walmart doesn’t even have that. I literally love the deli food so much and it is way better than any other deli. I would highly recommend any one in the area checking this place out and eating at the deli.”
