  As we were in the middle of moving, I needed a place to store some things for a few months in the transition. There are a few places in town, or close by, offering very competitive rates, but in the end, Red Dot won me. First, their security. Not only is there a gate that you need a pass code to get through (unique to each customer), but they have security cameras mounted in and around the place. The very first night I signed up, the gate was stuck open due to cold weather, but I rested easy knowing there was surveillance. Secondly, their location, very easy and quick to get to. Lastly, extremely painless. Called them one afternoon to say I needed a unit, 7 minutes later I had a unit number, code, and was told I could access it as early as within the next hour. I would recommend this place to anyone.

  I love that red dot is available 24/7 and that you can pay at the kiosk. They are pretty pricey and if you are late on your payment they lock your unit (understandable) however your unit does not get unlocked as soon as you pay your bill, you have to wait up to 2 or 3 days for it to be unlocked. Another issue is you cannot make a partial payment (say you dont care about the unit being locked and you want to put $100 on your $150 bill, you cant.) I figured you could make a partial payment not to get it unlocked, but to get it out of the way. You also cant use 2 forms of payment (half card, half cash) but other than that the units are clean, open 24/7 and the people on the phone are very nice and helpful.
