  Mchenry Outdoor Theater is a bit of a hidden gem. The cozy feel and outdoor setting make this a unique movie going experience.

  One of the only left of it's kind in the area. Such a fun summer tradition! Most of the Chicago/WI area drive-ins have died out, so if you can, go out and support this great theater :) The concessions are expensive, as would be expected, but the people are friendly. Love the community that comes out!

  Great place to go for an outdoor movie! We love to go for date nights and the many families that go all seem to have a great time. Some speakers don't work, but they have rental speakers for $5 at the concession stand. Definitely consider bringing a decent amount of money for tickets, snacks, and possibly speakers, but it will be well worth it. Also bring blankets, chairs and pillows for additional comfort!

  Came to see sandlot and field of dreams ..,like the fact that we can bring our own food and drink...love the fact that is further out in country so you font get a bunch of noise from street but it is close to an intersection... other then that is a fun time for the family ... I took a star off cause the don’t have a lot of working speaker ...so unless you want to use your car radio or bring a boom box.. you’ll have to rent one from them and I feel that is something they should provide
