(October 22, 2018, 10:58 pm)My mother has been in the care of Crystal Pines for over 2 yrs. I visit her several times a week & the facility is immaculate. There is absolutely no bad odors. The staff is friendly & helpful. The nurses are attentive. Before you make a decision about a facility visit it first before being swayed by the negative reviews. The only complaint my mother has is that she doesn't care for the food.

(June 23, 2018, 7:26 pm)I was there for two and a half weeks and was very pleasantly surprised. Reading earlier reviews I expected a horrible experience but it was excellent.
The facility is spotlessly clean the staff is very competent and friendly. There is no smell. Amenities are numerous but the food could use some improvement.
Laundry is free and done on demand, the rooms are cleaned regularly newspapers are delivered daily, the CNAs are very friendly and helpful and the nursing staff is excellent and skilled.
The physical and occupational therapists are very professional and caring. They have the proper equipment to do their work to a high standard.
Overall I have to praise what the new owners have done. I would give it five stars except for their kitchen. Fix that and I would rate the facility as excellent. -

Staff excellent.
Rooms excellent.
Medical care excellent.
Clean facility.
Decor compatible to regular hospital/NIMC.
Food - could improve.
I truly wasn’t expecting much based on some of the previous reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the facility and staff. CNA staff very caring and cheerful, Nursing staff were excellent and extremely professional. Therapy staff were outstanding.
Our best friend also had a great experience and stayed 2 weeks.
I was very pleased.

(January 24, 2018, 11:46 am)My mom has been there over a year. The staff has been wonderful, quick to respond. Nurse Angie is awesome & the sides so attentive, responsive & caring. Even Mom says u could eat of the floors, it's so clean. Mom's complaints are the food & tiny rooms. No real good place to congregate if multiple family members come to visit. In the summer we like to sit on the back patio. Mom is ecstatic to see deer as they occasionally come through the yard. Yes it does smell sometimes if folks have recently been changed. I am a frequent visitor so feel I can honestly give this review.
