  Very cute nature center. Kids will have a ball learning about local animals (bee colony was interesting). Well maintained grounds and trails.

  Beautiful preserve. The Plum Creek Nature Center has information and hands on activities for the whole family. There are hiking trails, camp grounds, and en equestrian trail to enjoy.

  Beautiful nature preserve. The hummingbird festival in August was a fun, laid-back event both times I've attended. I saw a lot of hummingbirds in the garden next to the nature center.

  Love this place for the trails and free concerts to the on site tent camping. The people here are amazingly helpful and super nice. I come here now every chance I get.

Sledding - Forest Preserve District of Will County

Sledding tubes can be rented at Plum Creek Nature Center, which is located near the sled hill. Guests can also bring their own sleds, but no steel runners, snowboards or steerables are allowed.
