(December 28, 2018, 11:03 pm)I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. I have only glowing recommendations. Where to start. I will start at the door, you can walk in and try to get a golden egg. Usually there is a wait but it doesn't really matter because you know what you will get will be worth the wait. The waiting area has some fascinating things to look at and do. It's been holding your attention for years and just seems to be a step back to a simpler time. Once you get seated you are inundated with smells of chicken and fritters to die for... Your dining experience will be finger licking and so tasty it's almost a guarantee. I can only say nothing but good things. Just remember that generation after generation of people have enjoyed this place and for the greatest reasons!! Please enjoy like me and the rest of the thousands and thousands of satisfied customers since the 1920's..!! It shows that there is nothing wrong with doing something right!

(December 17, 2018, 7:55 pm)Great place for a family get together. Classic fried chicken at its best. Don't overlook the shrimp though cause they are good too. Love the pass around salads and ohhhh the corn fritters..yum

(November 27, 2018, 10:05 pm)A visit here is always a great experience no matter the size of your group. We brought out of town friends and they absolutely loved every bit. Chose to go chicken, pork and fish all family style giving everyone a chance to savor different options. Christmas decorations were amazing and the staff was courteous and competent as always.
