  It was by accident that I met Dr. Peter Kakavas back in 2010. He was the cardiologist assigned to me at Palos Hospital when I went to emergency. Little to my surprise did I know I found the Best Dr. who cared and has given me excellent advice & treatment. I truly feel he has my best interests always. I would recommend Dr. Kakavas to anyone. For the past few years he has worked with me on multi levels to get my cholesterol under control. He also is compassionate and understanding of the cost of statin drugs on people with not the greatest insurance. This man alone has restored my faith in Dr.'s. He is not only brilliant but on top of the latest studies including many research projects I would gladly send any of my children to him. He is down to earth and an all around good man. I will stay with him until he retires or I expire. Can't say enough good things about this guy but I've put my HEART literally in his hands an I have yet to meet a finer Dr. You really need to look no further.
