The Family Trauma Advocacy Program is a not-for-profit, hospital/community-based organization that utilizes trained volunteers to offer support to families who have lost a loved one to a violent death. Our Mission.
The Family Trauma Advocacy Program is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that depends largely upon grants and donations. Donations to the FTAP will help to ensure that we continue to provide free comprehensive grief support services to homicide/violent crime victims.
Supporting Surviving Family Members of Homicide & Violent Crime Victims. In addition, victims and family members can register to receive automatic notification when there are any changes in an inmate's status and an automatic notification when a change in court status occurs.

The Family Trauma Advocacy Program plans to expand the program to include educational programs for adults, parents, as well as teachers, and others who interact with children who could benefit from increasing their knowledge of the grieving process.
