“I have been waiting 3 months to see Dr Musick. My insurance did not kick in until the 1st of March and his schedule was also quite packed. Upon calling and making the appt I asked if Cigna was accepted not realizing it was a connect plan nor the office realizing they don't accept connect. I showed up and it wasn't until after driving 40 minutes across the river when I arrived I realized my consultation would not be covered. Upon explaining the frustration of sharing my ins provider and not being told that this specific plan was not covered, Alex, one of the staff (very kind and helpful), went to speak with Dr Musick about the issue. Not only did he see me for free given their office and I had a misunderstanding regarding the ins provider, but he did a procedure on me that I will not be charged for unless it proves to work in which case I will go back in for more of the same to help with the angio fibroma I have. I have seen many a dermatologist in the last two years and none of them have done a free "test" spot so that if it doesn't work I'm not out anything but that if it does then I can invest in the cost. I was so taken aback by the fairness of this in a field where that is not very common. He was also very kind and personable which I have found to be rare in this arena as well. All in all, worth the drive and out of pocket costs I will potentially have if our "test" works. :)”
