“Dr. Maricar Virina is the Doctor I’ve been searching for years to have. I’ve always had the “Hi/Bye” type of doctors and being someone with a lot of female medical issues, it had become tiring trying to find someone to actually care or listen to me. Not only does she take the time to listen to you, but she really takes everything that you say or are going through to heart. She is caring, gentle, proactive and extremely personable. She genuinely cares about your physical AND mental health. She is truly amazing in every form and is truly the best OBGYN I’ve been to. I can’t thank her enough for not only being the person to genuinely sit down and listen to me without rushing or brushing me off, but for being a caring human being. I think sometimes we forget that Doctors are real people just like us with their own lives as well. I believe Dr. Virina shows beautifully that she is human and she UNDERSTANDS. I truly believe she will not only help bring so many beautiful lives into the world, but she will also save many as well simply for taking mental health seriously and having empathy surrounding it. “Mom LOVES her home here! She mentions it almost every time I call her. She's very comfortable in this smaller facility and feels safe here. Jen, the Director, is Awesome! She's very responsive; she totally understands our mom's situation and is always open to our recommendations for her care plan. She even offers some effective suggestions of her own. Staff is good. There's 2 or 3 who really look out for Mom and her needs. Covid got in the way of the planned activities for a bit but staff still finds ways to get mom engaged. My sisters and I are thankful that Mom is being cared for and will alert us when something seems out of the ordinary (3 of us 4 are out of state).”
