“This is an amazing place. Just go. My 11 year old son started coming to the kids strength, agility, and speed class in September. He was super out of shape as a result of COVID - before the pandemic he was a super active, healthy kid. Two full time working parents meant a lot of screens, stay at home orders meant no playing with friends, and even our neighborhood swings were zip tied. Fast forward a year and he still hadn’t regained his athleticism. Enter Body Shop and their wonderful coaches. In three months, he has gone from not being able to run to running for fun, from not being able to see muscles in his body to asking what the definition in his legs is, from me having to secretly stretch out his husky sized shirts to him fitting in all his clothes. We are complete body acceptance people in my house and would NEVER fat shame him. At the same time, his life is so much more full now that he is “sportsing” again. And what started as a fun time for him with friends is now just a thing he does because he loves it, regardless of whether anyone else goes. He wants to play football next year and sees this as training. There are days he knows he will be the only one in class and it’s not a problem for him. Thank you, Body Shop!
