“My friend and I decided to stop here after a recent Ravinia concert. A bit surprised to learn they were take out only, the weather outside was nice, so what the heck? I really enjoyed their Won Ton Soup and Kung Pao Chicken. My friend was a bit less enthused with her meal. She had shrimp appetizer and was not impressed. I will definitely go back if I am in the neighborhood, or after another Ravinia show, provided I don't have my friend with me, I don't think she would enjoy it too much. It is simple with good flavor, good ingredients, and a crust that matches both. I usually get pizza once a week with my family. And Pete’s has become our go to. We have liked other places in the area, but the things that have put Pete’s at the front has been the consistency of the make of the pizza never being over cooked, or lacking toppings. on top of that the price for size (family two topping for under $30), and the absolute positive friendliness of every staff members I have had help me so far. “We decided to stop in and try this restaurant today. It's super close to our house. When looking at the restaurant it doesn't have much curb appeal but it's your basic hometown style restaurant. We entered the restaurant and it was full. We waited only a few minutes to get a booth as someone was leaving. The menu has a lot of choices. I got the basic 123 breakfast: egg, hash browns, Greek toast and bacon. My boyfriend had a classic burger that came with a bowl of soup, soup of the day was cream of potato, and fries. We both enjoyed our food. Staff was friendly and attentive. We will go back for breakfast again.”

“Great place to grab a drink with a wide selection of brews. They are always bringing new beers in, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding something to your taste. “Beautiful decor, good food, great drinks and brews, outdoor eating, love this place! The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of inconsistent food quality. There are days you can go here and get a great dish and other times that same dish will taste completely different. This has happened on numerous occasions and not just to myself. There must be several different cooks doing things their own way rather than sticking to the recipe. So when we come here, we have no idea whether we’re going to get the “good version” of the dish we chose. Otherwise everything else is very very good here! We live in town so we ride our bikes here and eat outside in the summer. We also meet friends and family here regularly.”

“I visited on a Saturday night. Very busy. I was surprised that you seat yourself when you enter. Had to wait for a table to be cleaned. Took over a half hour to get our food. We ordered the Bacon Avocado Ranch burger with fries and wings. Burger was okay. My son really enjoyed the wings. Our waitress was good although she seemed to be scurrying around from table to table. Seems like they are short staffed. The place was noisy so it was hard to have a conversation. There was a band setting up for live music as we were leaving. Overall an okay experience.”
