“My toddler loves attending this KinderCare in Lisle on College Road. My husband and I could not be more happier. Ms. Ellie, Miss Amanda, and all of the teachers are very friendly, approachable and very professional. My daughter is just under 2 years-old and she is excelling in her speech, gross-motor skills and fine-motor skills. The teachers take pride in what they are teaching my daughter and other children, and they are very attentive to all children. I put my trust in all of the teachers and staff to care for my daughter and as well as in her edcuation. It is also a safe environment for my daughter to grow up in. The teachers and the center directors do a great job communicating with me and my husband on their conerns and support for my daughter. The center is clean and very inviting. I recommend this center at this location to any parents that are seeking a great childcare/early education for their child/children.”

“I have known about Montessori method of education long before I become a parent, I always wanted one day my children to go through that education. When that time came I begun searching for the right Montessori school. I was willing to travel more if I have to, just wanted to find a good one. I visited every Montessori school in 10 miles radius from my home and I couldn’t be more happier with The Grove Montessori School. I’m writing this review with tears in my eyes, I can’t believe my little baby grew up and time past so fast-he graduated kindergarten and now he is continuing his educational journey. We are missing The Grove Montessori so much! The school is amazing, the teachers are awesome, every single thing in the school environment is touching you in a peaceful and a calm way. My son enjoyed every single day spend there. When I had to chose his elementary school I walked around many public and private schools, and there is nothing to compare to The Grove Montessori environment. I feel so fortunate, that I found The Grove Montessori, my son received an exceptional care and training. The owners of the school carefully choose their stuff and everyone is very knowledgeable, dedicated, passionate, giving the best possible care for the little ones. The kids get prepared really well. My son became very social and independent, he is completely ready for first grade, he can read, he knows so many things and when he got tested at his new school they told me that his math level is for second grader. For which I’m giving all the credit to the great program at The Grove Montessori and especially to the great teachers, who were preparing him with love and patience every single day. I really appreciate their hard work and admire their dedication. If you are on a search for quality educational daycare this is the right one!!!”

“My son is in the 7th grade now but I loved when he was in the intermediate school. They were really good to him. He had no learning difficulties and he had no behavioral problems but he seemed to always get the one-on-one attention he wanted when he needed to get some extra help. I'm glad that he's been in the Helena School district since first grade. He was in adamsville before for kindergarten and he was the smartest kid in the class and broke his leg and didn't go to school for 3 months and still was smarter than all the other kids and passed without any extra work to be done and then he started first grade at Helena and we realized how far behind he had become in Jefferson County schools. I pray my child never has to go to Jefferson County schools. Shelby County is my home I went to Vincent high School and no it's not the best school but I got a better education than my husband did in Jefferson County.”

“I love The Early Years. I enjoy sending my child somewhere I trust and feel comfortable with. The center is always clean and organized, not to mention the staff are just the most friendly and caring people in the world. The education is great, the kids begin to learn right from the start, I am very satisfied with everything here.”

“Lads & Lassies Pre School is an enriching envrionment where my children are comfortable and safe. They are able to be themselves & express their individual personalities under the watchful & wonderful eyes of Ms. Jan & Ms. Kathy. Not only are they instructing on the basics of education, the children are also learning the basics of socialization. I have sent all 4 of my children to this school over the last 6 years. To say they have thrived because of Lads & Lassies is an understatement. I couldn't ask for more wonderful people to teach and guide my children as they begin their journey through education.”

“This facility has been a Godsend to my family! Mrs. Jean and her team set an exemplary bar that few will ever be able to reach. I could go on about the amazing curriculum, interactive activities, celebrations, daily reports and pictures, food program, etc., but that's not why we stay. We stay because they have built an amazing culture! This team demonstrates the idea of loving their jobs each and every day. They lead by example to instill kindness in each child's heart, as well as, how to be a great person. This is the TOTAL PACKAGE in terms of childcare facilities!”

“After living in Hamel for years, circumstances in 2013 dictated a temporary move to Edwardsville. I have since moved back to Hamel, but even during my exile to E’ville, sometimes I’d drive the extra 10 miles to use the Hamel Post Office. This is nothing against the fine folks at the Edwardsville branch, but like so many things in my adopted home town, the staff at the Hamel Post Office embodies the very best of small town America: personal, personable, & professional. In short, you just couldn’t ask for better service or nicer people.”

“We had a good experience at Stay & Play Dare Care. The building was always impeccably clean and smelled very nice. The rooms are organized with fun toys. Any time we would come in, our 1 (almost 2) year old was listening to music or toddling around. They did activities that he really learned from. My son was born extremely early and was behind. We believe that he began walking sooner, talking sooner, and memorizing things sooner because of daycare. It helped his social skills too. They encouraged his learning. His teacher would do sweet little crafts on holiday. We really appreciated Miss Kay. She also would text cute videos to us and take pictures of him. She is very professional, good at what she does, and trust worthy. Our son liked her and felt comfortable with her. I would absolutely trust her with him again. They did fun table activities and took photos as well. I appreciate daycare teachers immensely due to how hard they work and how little they are paid. The rate here was more than fair and within our budget. I did not find that the daycare allowed sick children and when covid hit, they took precautions. We ended up having to pull our son out due to COVID as he has a chronic lung condition. But I think Stay & Play was a good choice and would go there again. Any and every day care is going to have poor reviews as people get upset and need an outlet to air their grievances. Give little weight to negative reviews. Check the DCFS inspections and see what DCFS found wrong and how it was corrected. Also check out their facebook for cute photos and more reviews. I think Stay and Play is a great choice and has the bonus of being easier on the budget.”
