“S&K tools are the best tools I have ever laid my hands on. And as far as they're ratchets whether it be a 1/4 inch Drive 3/8 Drive or 1/2 inch Drive it is absolutely the only ratchet I will ever use. I have used all the other ratchets out there and nothing compares to a S&K ratchet. Any of the other ratchets on the market they will slip into neutral and bust your knuckles and if you put your hand on the end for more leverage don't dare touch the little lever that changes Direction because you will bust your knuckles. I have never had any of these issues with an S&K ratchet. And as far as their warranty I have never had an issue there as well. I have always called the 1 800 number and they have replacement parts coming right away the lady I speak with every time I call is more than polite and very helpful. And if I have to send them through the mail I have always gotten them return to me at a very satisfying time. So to S&K hand tools I can only tell them thank you for making my mechanic life so much easier. I absolutely love my S&K tools thank you S&K.”

“For the truckers. There are about six to seven overnight spots on premises. No guard. Lots of space to back up. Place opens at 8 a.m. Check in is at Door 13. Clean, newer building (so keep it clean and spiffy). No need to open doors as you back up. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are about three truck stops about 22 miles west of sector, and the DeKalb oasis about 6 miles south-west of facility (which I believe has a time restriction for parking). No parking outside of premises as Sherriff's and State police patrol the roads and are usually strict.”

“Kay's Bakery is absolutely a reason to go to Somonauk. She makes everything from scratch --- you can see the kitchen in action right from the donut case! My favorites: maple bacon long johns (when I'm lucky enough to snag one), GIANT cookie dough brownies, GIANT cinnamon rolls (don't tell anyone I said they rival my mom's), and cranberry raisin power scones. We don't live anywhere near but still find excuses to 'just pass through'. You should, too.”
