“Lisle station is a commuter railroad station along Metra's BNSF Line in Lisle, Illinois. The station is at 1000 Front Street, 24.4 miles (39.3 km) from Union Station, the east end of the line. As of 2018, Lisle is the 10th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 1,895 weekday boardings. It is near the Village Hall on Burlington Avenue and the St. Joan of Arc School. Parking for the station is also available near these locations, as well as further east near St. Joseph Creek Road and as far north as Ogden Avenue. Amtrak trains pass through the station but do not stop. Lisle station was originally built by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad in 1864. A fire destroyed the first railroad depot, but it was rebuilt in 1874 by the CB&Q. Currently, the station has a much more contemporary appearance, and even contains a pedestrian tunnel.”

“This place is ridiculously amazing! We should be able to give 5+ stars to certain business that deserve it. This shop deserves it. Adult toy stores are often for women, as most toys are for women. That’s understandable. As a man going into the store, the staff there didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all, they weren’t pushy, they weren’t judgemental about the toys I bought, it was an amazing experience overall. Plus they do have a great selection for men. Prices are phenomenal! Saw a few people talking about Amazon, which is absolutely ridiculous. Can’t compare an online big box to a local shop with high quality items you can see and touch. I’ve been to other shops but this is my new go to by far. Would highly recommend!”

“I took a cat, with testicles, and dropped it off in the morning. When I picked the cat up that afternoon, the cat no longer had testicles. That's pretty much what I expected but the price was affordable. It was so fulfilling, I now pick up random cats, have them fixed, and return them to where I found them. I'm sure the owners will be thankful when they find out. Probably have a parade or something for me.”

“There are only two barbers that cut my hair during my time in Gillespie from '65 to '94: Harry and Stan. Harry was first, and Stan wasn't around then. Harry had his shop on Macoupin St. right next to the pool hall. Now, that entire building is gone. I don't know what happened to Harry (retirement, going out of business, death), but I guess sometime in the early '80s or late '70s I started going to Stan, who had recently opened his barber shop where it still is now. Stan always did a fine job of cutting my hair. And being a young fellow chasing girls and always trying to look cool, I was pretty picky about my hair.”

“Hands down, the best podiatrist you will ever find! I sound like a broken record, but he is thorough, he listens to you, if you're his last patient, he's not rushing you or running out the door, he will take his time, at my appointment I told him, the last time I had to cancel because my Uber was running late and he said I would have still taken you because they're still doing their papers, all their work afterwards, there are people cleaning up, anyways, the bannockburn location, the staff everything is so above and beyond, it is a great experience every time!!! Dr Borelli is a Dying Breed, he really, really cares about the patient before him and he listens, I admit it, sometimes I could be a handful and be repetitive and ask the same questions over and over and he is just so great, he really does listen, what a breath of fresh air, today he took care of a toenail that had been taken care of by two podiatrists before, but today he really took care of it! I'm not kidding if I moved out of the state, I would travel to see this guy!!! I have a long list of health problems and I've been to so many different kinds of doctors, like I said he is a Dying Breed and really cares about the patient before him and his work, the job he does, there are no words, he's the BEST!!!!!!”

“How do you say beyond fantastic? This place makes me want to move to the area just so I can eat here all the time! Mainly on-road parking, but we found a few nearby parking lot areas to put our truck and pontoon. Fun menu with so many options it took the 6 of us quite a while to pick! We got the pulled pork pile, a pulled pork sandwich, the ribs, a double cheeseburger and a Cobb salad. Only disappointment out of all of that was the Cobb salad, it said it was a mixture of greens but was sadly just iceberg lettuce. We all left stuffed to the gills! Rolls were delicious. Sides were amazing. Portions were huge, and prices were very reasonable. Decor throughout the restaurant created a fun, nostalgic atmosphere, and our service was top notch! The pie and dessert list was endless, but none of us had room for it. We are definitely keeping this one on the radar for any future trips to southern IL. Thanks for making the last meal on our 8 day vacation by far the best!!”

“I met a friend here for dinner and had a pleasant time. It's a bit of a sports bar and so they have sports bar sort of food and we had plenty of it. Margaritas and nachos got us started. For main course, I chose the hot chicken sandwich! Basically two big chicken tenders with buffalo sauce poured over. Two of them were too big for the sandwich bun so one got consumed with knife and fork. Quite spicy (yay!) and so that went with a nice local beer before I could finally get the sandwich going. Onion rings were excellent and also messy, though my friend had the house-made chips and they looked pretty awesome. All told, a fun place to meet up and eat. Televisions weren't loud and we had plenty of opportunity to just chat.”
