“Dan the owner is great with communicating with you prior to the move. He and his crew, Dave & Nick are all outstanding. They hustle, and they treat your stuff with respect. I had a 30 stair walk up and they were working their tails off, but yet still worked quickly and professionally. Dan knew my heavy treadmill wouldn't fit through the door, so they disassembled it and put it back together once inside. Their rate is very fair, especially for how fast and organized they are. Honestly they were the best movers I ever used.”

“For a small town bakery, I was blown away. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite, but if you twist my arm, I'll say, Apple Fritter. That is if you're talking about their pastries. Otherwise, I'll choose the Avocado Toast. The toast looked so good, I dove into it and forgot to take a picture, it was that yummy. What really surprised me and delighted me to no end, is the fact that they offer booze. I'm retired so a breakfast out is always like a weekend brunch. I love a Bloody Mary and my cousin likes a Mimosa and they were able to satisfy each of our preferences. Their bar is limited, but the beers they offer are local craft beers. Love it when local supports local. Their chicken salad is killer and and once you've tried it, you'll be buying a container to take home. I like grapes in my chick salad and this one also has candied pecans. OMG, those two extra ingredients made my taste buds sing. The kitchen is in full view of the dining area, so you can see them creating their magic. You can also see how clean and will organized their work space is. Customer Service is outstanding. It's small town hospitality - the staff was witty and fun to banter with. Blackbird is about a half hour drive from my house. It's not a drive I want to make on the regular, but it is a drive definitely worth a special treat.”

They are able to get what you want and work with you throughout the entire process. Louie runs an outstanding business and is the man to reach out to when you are looking for something specific he will pull through! I would recommend to a knife enthusiast to take the time and stop by his little shop in New Lenox and take a look at his great stock on hand and be prepared to be receive top notch customer service!”
