Dr. Kristin L Gerhardstein MD

Dr. Gerhardstein is very caring and knowledgeable. She is willing to spend time with her patients. She advocates a healthy lifestyle (WFPB diet.) She provides excellent care! Her staff is kind and helpful.

Dr. Gerhardstein supports a whole foods plant based diet for allowing the body to heal itself and to maintain optimal health. I've been dealing with an inflammatory arthritis issue for almost 11 years, and never has a doctor mentioned changing my diet to help with this issue. In fact, whenever I've brought up what I could change in my diet with other doctors it's brushed off as insignificant. I'm on the brink of being prescribed a long term prescription from my rheumatologist, but I'm hopeful that because of following the advice Dr. Gerhardstein gave me I'll be able to avoid prescription medication. Aside from going against the "modern medicine" grain, she spent about 30 minutes with me at my initial establishment appointment asking/ answering questions and listening to concerns. I'm excited to have found a doctor like her!

I am so thankful to have found a family doctor who takes a natural approach first before prescribing a bunch of pharmaceuticals. I appreciate the way she takes the time to listen to what’s going on and actually cares about her patients needs and concerns. Many doctors won’t listen to you if you tell them your thoughts about what might be going on, they treat you as if they are doctor and you don’t know what you are talking about. Thankfully, Dr. Gerhardstein is opposite of this. Her staff is awesome as well. The intake nurse is very thorough and takes very good notes. I enjoyed talking with Dr. G about eating clean and attending her Plant Based Meet Up. Right now I don’t have any major issues but I feel hopeful for once that I have found someone who I can trust who will guide me in the direction I want to go in regards to my health care. My daughter is also a patient and she has been very helpful with her as well. The phone nurse was very kind when we called about some issues my daughter was having. We asked a lot of questions but she never made us feel like we were annoying her like so many experiences I’ve had in the past in other situations.

Dr. Gerhardstein is very kind and caring she spent all the time in the world to make sure she amswered all your questions we loved her. The only we switched was because she is more for natural medicine where we believe in more modern. Her staff was always amazing and did blood draws and most everything on site.

I have been so pleased with Dr.G! She is always very thorough, patient and caring!
