Great staff answered all out questions. They have a great selection of fabric to choose from. Look forward to recovering my sofa and chair.
This place is amazing. The reupholstering they have done for has been beautiful. They've duplicated my husband's bassoon case covers in leather, recovered the cushions of his 70s ish contemporary LR chair and are now reupholstering the seats of his Danish Modern dining room chairs that we now use as side chairs. We're scheduled for an early August time frame that is a testament to the loyalty of their customers.
I must add that in their lower level, they have this amazing workshop with the machines, tools, and work spaces for anyone, hobbyist, crafter, and small-scale producer of products for sale. You can walk to the counter and someone will be happy to give you a tour of the facilities and relatively low fees and classes to use them. Certainly a hidden gem of our community.
Quality work for a reasonable price! I had a torn boat cushion repaired. Although they ultimately ask that you choose the fabric needed for the repair from their books/samples, they assist and lend their expertise. Nice folks; highly recommend. Will use again if another mishap!
This was my first visit with The Recovery Room. I had 2 pieces of furniture worked on. One was a foot stool for my grandmother and the second was a child's rocker that was a family heirloom. I felt both pieces were priced reasonably along with a great selection of materials to chose from.
We are planning on taking in our dining room chairs next for replacing the seats material. I would highly recommend this company.
Larry and his team were great to work with. Flexible and laid-back, but dedicated to getting the job done right on my residential dining booth recovery project. The business is in a cool, old building and I enjoyed the store. I felt an authentic hand-craftsmanship vibe that that I seldom come across in this modern world. The fact that the Recovery Room engages in a kind of recycling, and allows people to avoid disposing of and buying new, also adds to the appeal.
