“There was a sweet dog that started hanging out around our neighborhood and suddenly yesterday was vomiting and excreting blood, weak. Talked to neighbors and she didn't belong to anybody. Couldn't get ahold of anybody near me up further north. So I called this hospital. Took her down and tested for parvo and was put in a special parvo room so it doesn't get to the rest of the hospital sick. She was positive. They gave me options, but she was so far into it that the only humane thing to do was to euthanize. The doctor and techs were amazing and compassionate. They scanned her for a microchip first, and allowed me to stay with her the whole time. Then when I got the bill, they did not charge for the exam or test, just the euthanasia. The entire time they were sweet and understanding with this strange situation, and I cannot praise them enough!”

But when I exercise I stand in one spot in the lap pool, neck deep, moving my arms, legs and waist. With only 5 people in the lap pool I had to stop exercising in order to not make physical contact with two teens who came within reach. I didn't say anything to them. I remember being a teen. I would have been having fun and forgotten, too. But out of respect for them and myself I won't back for a while.”

We had consults with several orthodontists before choosing Dr. Thompson and he certainly didn’t make it a hard choice. He took the time to make sure I understood the complexity of my daughter’s anatomy and what it may take to get her teeth where they needed to be. He was honest with potential limitations and additional procedures that may need done along the way. We so appreciated this thoroughness rather than just an overall cost. It really put our minds at ease. At different points along our journey, when our daughter would get weary, he’d always know how to encourage her to keep going. Dr. Thompson always consulted me when referring for other procedures and listened and respected when we wanted to wait or needed time to decide on how to move forward. The staff know how to communicate and relate to kids; they’re just great with them.
