Comfort Inn & Suites

We checked in on Tuesday night. Very nice and polite young man checked us in. Smiled and made us feel welcome. First hotel in 4 nights that had a front desk person that really seemed like he wanted to work there. Keep him!

I give this hotel a five-star rating even though I see some ratings below that. We had decided we wanted to upgrade our room when we checked in on a Monday night at 5:30 p.m. and the manager who was ready to leave for home stayed to get everything set for us, was very kind efficient and helpful. We are on a 1 month 3000 Mile road trip and of the 5 hotels we have stayed in this was hands down the cleanest. I check every hotel room we stay in with a black light and look for bed bugs and any sign of areas that have not been cleaned perfectly. Every other hotel there was at least one place that we had to clean due to something we found. This hotel passed 100%.
We had no problems with water pressure, drainage issues, or anything else. The room was very spacious and had a clean jacuzzi. The bed was comfortable and there were enough pillows that were also comfy. Breakfast was good with hot and cold selections. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here while visiting the Creation Museum on vacation. There was a good breakfast in the morning which we enjoyed. Park was very sufficient.
We did have a few issues with the room though. The shower didn't drain well and we stood ankle deep water while showering. The bathroom sink also wasn't that great at draining. The shower curtain has blue stain stuff on it from the previous person it seemed a long with hairs. They brought a different shower curtain and we swapped them out. Seems it should have been changed out before we arrived.
Other than these issues, we were happy with our stay

No bed bugs!! The rooms are fine for an overnight stay or two. The breakfast is pretty good. The staff is friendly and they have a pool. They also have infused water which is my new addiction so they get a bonus point

The hotel staff were wonderful. Special thanks to “Annie” who went above and beyond to correct my booking error! The hotel smells clean which was totally refreshing! Our room was clean, beds comfy, towels clean, etc, all excellent. The shower was hot and worked well, no leaking faucets!! Breakfast was hot and offered an excellent variety.

Three negatives: 1) The bathtub was horribly slick, nonslip sticky’s were nonexistent, my husband and felt unsafe and I had to hold the tub bar to avoid falling. 2) Shower curtain magnets did not hold the curtain in place while showering so water went EVERYWHERE and we had to dry up the floor after showering. There are visible signs that this is a long-standing issue based on evidence of impending water damage to walls and floor tiles. 3) Carpet is VERY dirty. Our feet were black from walking barefoot and rinsed off black in the shower.

Overall, though, this hotel just missed an excellent rating.
