Carter Lumber

We had Shelby help design our kitchen cabinets and cannot say enough about the wonderful job she did. She made the process as easy as possible, communicated well throughout the process, and quickly addressed any questions or problems that we ran into. She was very flexible and collaborative and made a large project something enjoyable.

Great workers and very knowledgeable. Cheaper than Lowe's on most items. They also have a wonderful cabinet showroom. I'd give them an A+.

They're great---when you can catch them open. We absolutely refuse to go to the Marion Lowes for ANYthing, so we always try to get our lumber from Carter. The only problem is, they are closed so often that it's hard to get what we need...closed weekends, only open til 5 during the week, but even that's not reliable- we made a special trip at 2:00 pm on a Tuesday for a project out of town a couple of months ago and they were closed. It seems that whenever we drive past there (which is on our way to work every day), they are closed at odd hours before 5 about half the time- it's become a thing for us to mention it if we see the gate open! But whenever you can get in there, they have what we need and the service is good.
