Very very nice staff. Highest quality shoes for a great price. Just a joy that we have them here in Indiana.
Very nice service
Finally found a pair of shoes my 4 year old will actually wear. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Sales lady was very knowledgeable and helpful. I just wish the shoes weren't so expensive, but that's the price I have to pay for having big feet. Also wish there was a larger selection for women who have large feet.
Members of my family have been going to Stout's for over 100 years. My grandparents shopped at Stout's on Massachusetts Avenue in Indianapolis.
They are the only shoe store to carry good quality shoes at reasonable prices. Our family has a lifetime history of 'strange' feet. Extremes from flat feet, to fallen arches; very narrow heels to very large, wide, long feet, (I am a 65 year old woman who wears an 8 and a half 4 E width shoe). Not only are my feet extra wide l have extremely high arches.
Foot deformities run in the family, (club feet, pigeon toed and such), so it is very, very difficult for the majority of us to find proper fitting shoes. Buying shoes at a discount store is not really an option. Paying discount prices several times a year ends up costing more than simply buying a better quality shoe that, more often than not, cost less than paying for several pairs at 'discount' prices.
Paying a little more for well fitting shoes is a great investment that can improve how you feel, especially when you are on your feet all day. If you care about your feet, go to Stout's.
These are pictures of my recent purchase from Stout's. I bought two pairs of New Balance Cross Training shoes and the cost was about $250.00 and there was no charge for shipping.
Stout's is THE place to go!
