(October 3, 2018, 6:24 pm)Sensei Davidson is excellent with kids! My daughter has been attending his classes since she was of age to go. He teaches more than punches and kicks. He teaches respect, morals and he truly cares about each and every one of his students. Sensei cares as much about the choices these kids make outside of the dojo as he does about the ones they make in it. Definitely recommend ABK!
(September 26, 2018, 12:59 pm)If you are looking for a belt mill that will merely give your kid a belt after you pay a bunch of money for tuition and belt testing fees don't come here. Mr. Davidson offers authentic Karate instruction, great sparring, is very personable, and compassionate. Whether you are looking for a place to send your child, you are an adult and have never trained, or you have a black belt, you can't go wrong training here. He has nurtured my growth in Karate for years and I am very blessed from his guidance. This is a hidden gem of a dojo, and well respected within the Karate community.

(July 10, 2018, 7:25 pm)When my husband first suggested to me that he would like to start our 4 year old daughter in karate I have to say I was a bit worried. Was it going to be violent, was one the first things that came to my mind. After taking her to several classes I noticed that there was something very special about Sensei Jeff. Yes he teaches, courage, honor, and respect, but he also truly cares about my daughter. Many times when she first started she would run around and say silly things, and never once did her yell or scold her. He used guidance and redirection in a positive manner. My daughter was having a hard time learning her ABCs. Sensei actually went and made flashcards and took the time to help her learn and grow. Sensei is a wonderful person with a kind heart. He cares about all of his students. I would encourage all parents to consider taking you child to American Blackbelt Karate.
(March 4, 2018, 8:28 am)We have attended American Blackbelt Karate since 2009, and Sensei Jeff Davidson still amazes me with his ability to connect with any student, under any circumstances, and help them grow and learn. I have seen so many improve not only their karate abilities, but their coordination, strength, and self-confidence. The other students... Children and adults... Are supportive and fun, and help create a positive and comfortable dojo environment. He is more than an amazing karate instructor... Even more than a role model...He is a trusted and loved part of our family.
