I have 4 children who go to this daycare and I cannot say enough great things about them! The staff/teachers are the most positive, compassionate and caring people I’ve ever seen in a child care facility. I never feel guilty leaving my kids there because I have the peace of mind that they are all being taken care of. My daughter has learned SO much in the short amount of time she’s been attending. I would not want to take them anywhere else.
I go back and forth on how I feel about this facility. We've been with ABC for about 2 years? Not to long after the Noblesville location opened. At first, I couldn't recommend it enough. I loved my daughters teachers. They communicated, they were attentive, they never missed a beat and it felt like family. One of those teachers is still there and i wish she was in my daughters classroom still! She was learning a ton from that teacher as well! My daughter was always surprising us with things she had learned! My daughter was always clean and sometimes would look better than when i dropped her off! (The teachers would do her hair in cute ways i hadn't learned yet) When she moved up to the 2 1/2s that's when things started to go wrong. Her cubby was always missing, sometimes with her items still in it, and for some reason I was told the owner insisted on keeping paint out where the toddlers could access it to "be creative" at all times. It was "washable", but as moms we all know that doesn't always mean it doesnt stain. So my daughters clothes were ruined on an almost daily basis for a while. Thats also when the turnover started to increase. (About a year in) Especially with the directors. (3 now) love the office staff, but if i have an issue (like with the paint) i always got the feeling i was just being assured enough to go away, but not ever really heard. I still struggle with that today.
Recently, they raised their prices to add on to the facility. It looks fantastic and my daughter loves the new rooms that just opened, but the fiasco it created on our Tax Deferred Dependent Care Account was a nightmare. When the prices went up, somehow they started over charging this account. It started in May and eventually drained my account faster than i was putting money in it. I was unaware as it was a benefit account and not apart of my primary bank. i had set funds to automatically go in every paycheck and less money taken out every week for tuition. Well, when the prices went up it started charging the wrong account the increased rate. Then they charge you $28 for every decline. (Even if you pay it same day) So as you can infer, my balance ran down pretty quickly. I wasn't told until months later by one of the office staff via email. Thank God for her. Just wish i would have been told sooner i was racking up fees on one of my accounts. I immediately contacted them to see what was wrong and fix it, but it was a fight to get them to refund the fees as my account caught back up from their error. Being a tax deferred account, I couldn't just add more money to that account to cover it. There are contribution limits . Eventually they made it right, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth when i tried to discuss it with office and definitely got the vibes that i was bothering them and they were annoyed. Things were better for a while. Everyone smiled went back to normal, i went out of my way to be nice, but now we are having issues again. My daughters shoes are ruined almost every time i pick her up. I don't mean scrape marks, little scuffs... i mean HOLES. To the point they cant be worn again. My daughters socks were soaked through (mind you its winter) from paying outside when i picked her up. They let the older kids ride on the ride ons and drag their feet. I was told to bring play shoes, which i did, and i got pictures of my daughter wearing her regular shoes in their daily updates after the fact... slightly irritating so i gave up and brought tougher shoes that were supposed to be nicer shoes but are now junk.
Update: The Director has addressed all issues and I have seen a huge improvement in communication. I have updated my rating as a result.
Our daughter has been attending for over a year and loves it. The facility is beautiful and teachers are fun and engaging with the kids. As a parent, I get regular updates during the day of what my child has been up to. ABCs & 123s has been great for our daughter.
We joined the ABC's & 123's family and that really is what it is, a family. It doesn't have the stuffy, or institutional feel of other "centers". Being family owned and operated is what we were looking for. Coming from in-home care that ended abruptly, we needed somewhere that we felt comfortable leaving our 10mo old son. ABC's & 123's in Nobelsville delivered! Stacey and Brittany were fantastic, getting us a tour, walking us through the daily routine, and helping us with the paperwork.
Every staff member we've met has been amazing, and I am confident that they are going to not only take great care of my son, but enrich his life too! I'm so excited to be a part of the ABC's and 123's family!
