(October 8, 2018, 2:20 pm)Both times recently when they have been closed they have been responsive on text to my finding injured backyard birds, which some rehabs won't bother with. I just dropped off a robin (possible window strike) with Kristen. An "every day" bird, so I appreciate that, because I did not want to do the wrong thing and cause it more distress. Thank you, Kristen, for your responsiveness.

(July 20, 2018, 4:33 pm)Kristen is wonderful to work with!!! I had a nest of baby bunnies in my yard. One of them was injured and Kristen took him in to evaluate him, even though it was her day off. I appreciate her kindness and am so thankful they are there to help our injured furry friends!

(June 5, 2018, 10:20 am)We had a nest and two robin babies fall from our gutter. I put them back up where they came from. I saw a parent at the nest a few times afterward, but not sitting on the nest, like had been before it fell. When I checked on them a few times after dark, there was no parent. So I brought them in and took care of them overnight (I had hand raised cockatiels and African greys before for our pet store). We were going out of town the next week, so I knew I wouldn't have the time to devote to these babies, so I contacted Providence. They said they would take the babies. We delivered the babies to them that evening. I checked on them periodically, and the last time I did, I was pleased to learn that the babies had done well, and was released on May 23rd!
