  April is very kind and very gentle!! After a not as pleasant midwife experience with my first child, April was a breath of fresh air!
  
  She was kind and accommodating, even at 4 am when I called to tell her my labor had started.
  
  At the birth she never made me feel rushed or like my labor was an inconvenience.
  
  She was encouraging the whole way.
  
  I would definitely use her services again :)

  April truly went above and beyond to support us during a long, slow labor. She was the advocate, expert, and supporter that we needed and gave us the freedom to take the reins when we wanted. Due to a misalignment, labor was slow, but with her expertise, she was able to recommend positioning that worked like magic. At a hospital, I probably would have ended up with a C-section for absolutely no reason. Instead, with her guidance, I had a peaceful, beautiful birth at home. Couldn't be more thankful to have found a midwife like April!

  My husband and I met April after looking intensely for the right-fit midwife for our first baby and home birth. We both had a list of questions a mile long and walked away from our initial consultation with zero doubt--we found our midwife! April is professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful providing an array of information week by week without trying to persuade or convince us to make a certain decision over another. She advocates for parents to be well informed and to make the best choices that align with the family's beliefs. April is a dependable, incredible, passionate, respectful, and overall top-notch midwife! We had zero issues from the day we met her all the way through to postpartum checks. During labor and delivery, April was calm, respectful, and met above and beyond all of our expectations. She is truly encouraging and will be our midwife for future babies!! We cannot express how grateful we are to have met her and had such an amazing, life experience with her by our side!

  April was referred to us by a friend - I immediately felt a connection with her in our consultation meeting - and I am so glad that we chose Serene Midwifery. I can not say enough wonderful things about her or speak highly enough of her - SHE IS AMAZING. This was my first home birth, third child, and the entire pregnancy/labor/post-party experience has been the best. I love the level of intimacy that April brings to her relationships. My husband and I, and our children love her and feel completely comfortable with her. I loved that I was able to do my prenatal visits in my home. She was always available to answer questions and provide support, any time I needed her. She was EXTREMELY supportive and caring during labor, her presence helped me more than I can say. She helped me with different positions and spoke peace into the moments when I really needed it. I wish I had known April for my other children! This entire experience has been so incredible! I would recommend April to everyone!

  April was our Midwife for our first baby! She did an amazing/ outstanding job. She is very passionate about pregnancy and birth. She is honest and open about the questions and concerns we had. We felt like she was more than a midwife when she stepped into our house, we felt as she was part of our family. When it came to delivery day, she brought so much peace into the room. I could not have asked for a better experience. Originally we were going to deliver in a hospital but God led us to April and it was the best decision my husband and I made. We want April to deliver all our babies! ????
