(December 22, 2018, 10:20 am)We like the food, that's why we stop there when we are in town. However, the pic below defines the word "skinflint". Nothing like either having to dig for change or stop by the ATM before dinner to be sure you don't stiff your waitress. So few carry cash any more. Dave realized that several years ago and FINALLY started taking debit and credit cards (and no doubt adjusted his prices to account for the 2-3% bank fee for accepting cards). Despite the wording on the menu below that makes it seem like he is a victim of technology, he has made a conscious decision to have no consideration for his wait staff's ability to be compensated fairly for their labor. C'mon, Dave, raise your prices by less than 1/2 of 1 percent to offset the 3% bank fee on a 15% tip and resist to urge to pocket it. I think we would all gladly pay it. Merry Christmas to your servers!
