Sales associate Jean was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. We went to purchase a new suit for my husband and found the quality, pricing and experience to be very good. One warning, DO NOT give them your email address. You will receive a constant barrage of advertising from their head office on a daily basis. Otherwise, I recommend shopping at this store.

I am puzzled by J.A. Bank. My real only experience with them is with their shirts. Several years ago I was told that they had good shirts that didn't need much ironing. So I went in and find these $90-$100 shirts. For this price they must iron themselves. But then I find that this is just their "business model". They know that everyone wants a discount. So they ALWAYS have a sale of some sort. Buy one get one free, Buy 5 get 75% off. Use these 4 coupons. Whatever it is. None the less, I finally bought 5 Traveler Shirts. Some of them were in fact nice, but some weren't quite so nice. I didn't like the variability.
So it came time to buy more shirts I go in and find that their list price is still way too high for a shirt, but also found out that the best they can do with whatever the sale of the day is, is still far too expensive for a shirt. But since I received a $50 gift certificate for Christmas I tried to figure out how best to use it. I bought two shirts ($99 each) at Buy One Get One Free. Two shirts out the door....~$50 ( plus my $50 gift certificate ) Oh well. Once home I now find that they are skimping on things like no pocket on the front and the shirt is really short and barely stays tucked in, and it is pretty much the scratchiest 100% cotton shirt I have ever owned.

The 3 for $99 Black Friday shirt sale pulled me in again. I ended up with 9 new Traveler shirts.
Very high quality shirts and the service I receive was second to none. So I moved ( for now ) from 2 stars to 4 stars. I still think JAB is overpriced, but apparently you just need to be more patient.
Had the greatest experience at Jos. A. Bank because of the sweet employee. My fiance was needing a suit last minute due to losing too much weight to wear the one he owned and the sales lady was fantastic and found us a suit in the right color and size within minutes and we only paid $50 for it!! She was great to talk to and just really the sweetest thing. Will definitely be returning.
