  The moment I walked in the doors, I knew this was the place for my father. He was in his last days, taken down in a short two months with Glioblastoma. We were devastated and wanted only the best for his last days. And boy did we hit the jackpot. Everyone - and I do mean everyone - that we encountered during his stay was compassionate, professional, and leagues above anything we had encountered before. The love and tender care they provided for my father was extraordinary. One day they spent hours on the phone trying to locate the right medication to help my father with his hours long hiccups. They are also very attentive to the families, making sure they are comfortable and that they have all the information they need to understand the care that is being given to the patient. The facility itself offers comfortable suites for the patients with plenty of room for visitors, and there are several sitting areas where folks can take a time out and regroup in the relaxing atmosphere. I could go on and on, but I will sum it up like this: If you or a loved one ever need hospice care, Life's Journey is where you want to go.

  You will ABSOLUTELY find no better. Life's Journey should serve as the de-facto model for ALL hospice care providers. The facility, the owners, and the care providers are miles ahead of all others. My father was here, and when my time comes this is where I'll be. No words I can transcribe here will even begin to do Life's Journey justice. Walk through the door and your heavy heart will be light.
