Diamond in the rough! Excellent food, great healthy & nutritious options, don’t let that fool you, the meals are filling. I am shocked that a place like this exists where it does, eat here, best place in 60 miles, you won’t regret it.

We found this place completely by accident on a road trip home when we stopped for lunch. This was a very happy accident indeed! We had lovely fresh pizzas and pannis. Bought some wine, and bought some of their fresh cheese as a treat for when we get home. For other people in the cafe it seemed like a destonation, but for us it was a bright spot at in the middle of a long drive.

I will start off by saying: the food is incredible. Everything I’ve tried there has been great. No complaints there at all. My only disappointment is in the slowness of service whenever there are more than one or two parties dining in —this is a message to the senior leadership, not a judgment on the waitresses. Please invest in more employees. The last several times I have gone, there are way too many customers for how few servers/food prep workers there are. They are completely overloaded during busy times and it makes service very slow. I have been compensated with free dessert many times whenever the wait has been long, but the real solution is to make more of an effort to hire more people. It just seems like they are trying to stretch their staff way too thin. Hope those issues can be addressed.

Our server, Kim, was so helpful and kind! The wine and food were excellent and the atmosphere relaxing. Will definitely be back. A rare gem for this region!
