On Monday night, while driving home from work my car broke down. An officer by the name of Chuck, stopped to see if everything was ok. After I told him just car trouble, he then gets out of his car and does absolutely EVERYTHING, And I mean everything he could possibly be do to figure out the problem.. Hoping my car was only out of gas, he drives me to a gas station to get gas, when that wasn't the issue, he still tries to figure out the problem. I had called for a tow truck before he had pulled up, was told it would cost me $204.00! He then calls and gets a truck for $100.00 cheaper! He sat there with me, until the tow truck came! This all happened late Monday night on US31.
He could have just drove on by, he could have just left after I told him I was getting a tow truck. He went above and beyond this night! I just hope he knows how much I deeply appreciate every bit of his effort that evening!! Thank you

Grew up around officer Pfeiffer and he was always nice to me. Told me to always say no to drugs and lead a good life. I have been offered drugs in the past and every time that occurred, I thought of how much officer Pfeiffer meant to me and how I couldn't hurt him like that and I didn't want to disappoint someone I'm close to. Officer Lynn hunt also raised my stepbrothers and was like an extra dad to them and wanted to thank him not only for his service but his good deeds! Thank you officer Pfeiffer for meaning so much to me and officer Lynn hunt and all the officers that stuck through thick and thin with me when going through rough times in school and being bullied and having suicidal thoughts and bipolar disorder- all if you were always nice to me no matter what. After moving to kentucky and seeing how the officers aren't as nice, it made me think and miss Johnson county sheriffs department and realize that I was thankful having good officers growing up as a child. Thank you for everything, all the service that you do and your hard work and dedication! I miss all of you right now! A 5 star law enforcement agency!
