Yoder Department Store

I love going to the Yoders department store. I have been sick for a while, "so I haven't been in in a while, and one thing I did notice was a lot of the shoes were a little more old-fashioned. I did find a pair that I really liked, and I ended up buying them. I paid $144 they are really good shoes that will last me a long time.

This is a stop i usually go to when in Shipshewana...
1/2 of the store is like a department store..clothes, shoes...etc..
The other half is like a hardware store with a dash of gift/ souvenir selections..
Nice variety store..

Fun department store with lots of Amish style items. Even the hardware area was fun. Shoes were a little overpriced but shoes are not their specialty.
Service was good. Very helpful but not pushy.
Parking was safe and lots available.

Oh my, what can I say. This is a fabric buyers dream. So many beautiful fabric. Every time I come here I buy at least a dozen fabrics. It is the largest fabric store around. The have everything you need including specialty, clearance, sewing & quilting notions. I normally spend a hour in here. There is also, a great old fashion style hardware store, along with coffee shops in this building. It's a must stop.

I purchased the absolute best laundry rack that I guarantee will never break down in your lifetime. Amish made, well built lots of room folds up nicely, I absolutely love it and wish I would have bought it 20 years ago.
