The gym is a little small, and at times it can get crowded - but I have NEVER had a problem with other members in those situations. People work around each other in a very positive and comfortable environment. You get a mixture of serious lifters and casual walkers, but everyone has been friendly. I've interacted with the staff on a very limited basis, but every interaction has been positive and orientated around customer service. I left the Merrillville gym (Taft and Rte 30) after having a dreadful experience with their staff there. Bigger isn't always better, and in this case, I was happy with my move.
