When I broke my fifth metatarsal, I originally saw a podiatrist who was closer to where I lived. I wanted to get a second opinion when I heard her treatment plan, so I drove the extra miles to Dr. Ruter's office and I'm so glad I did! Not only was he straight to the point, he was pleasant and made sure I understood everything. His staff are all really great, too!

Great staff. Amazing Dr., we didn’t feel rushed. Very thorough and up front about everything. From surgery to long term recovery and getting back to normal. Very down to earth and personable. We left the appointment knowing what to expect for all the healing and care. Couldn’t of asked for a better appointment or planning of upcoming surgery and post operative healing.

After two surgeries on my foot, with no success and being in more pain than before, my primary care referred me to Dr. Ruter. I was extremely nervous and hesitant to trust another doctor with an injury a previous doctor only made worse, but Dr. Ruter and his office were amazing! When I went in (for all appointments) everything was explained to me and he took the time to make sure I was comfortable and to give me ALL of my options and possible outcomes. My case was pretty different as it was a correction surgery not knowing remotely what the outcome would be. Now, following Dr. Ruter's care and surgery, I am finally better and back to running, no pain, etc. Highly recommend Dr. Ruter and his office!
