(October 27, 2018, 10:53 pm)This is the best, family friendly county fair in the region. We always have a good time. Good food, great shows, descent midway, big police presence, we felt very safe there. And cant beat free before 3 on week days!!

(October 3, 2018, 1:18 pm)The Lake County fair is my absolute favorite! Delicious homestyle fudge can be found in the Arts & Crafts building and in the Industrial building. My only letdown with the fair is the vendors they have in the Industrial building. When I was a kid we loved walking through there, spinning wheels, free candy, all kinds of stuff for kids and actually interesting booths. Now its...mattresses or people just sitting there at a table and you're not really sure what they're trying to sell you.

(June 13, 2018, 9:09 pm)When the County Fair Fun isn't going on, the grounds are a great place to visit! There's so much see and do. A covered bridge to explore. A wonderful updated playground. Picnic shelters. The lake to walk around and fish in. Trails to hike. You can also explore the open air animal shelters.
Many of the buildings are available to rent. I've been to two wedding receptions in 2 of the different building. One air conditioned, the other not. Both very nice.
It's a shame the lake is no longer kept for swimming. It was lots of fun when I was a little kid.
