  I entered VIBRA Hospital with an ambulance transfer after a 31 day stay in MICU at a local Nortwest Indiana Hospital. I had been admitted & treated for a very serious infection. I had experienced which resulted in multiple system failures / which included complications of my respiratory system requiring Bi-pap assistance to breathe. I acquired pneumonia, atrial fibrillation, Infection that found its way to my replaced knee requiring surgical intervention to clean it Thrush in my mouth. I tore both bi-cep muscles & the right quadriceps. I was quite apprehensive about being released from the hospital and being told that a further facility stay was required before I could return home. I thought I was going to a dirty old nursing home. My anxiety was relieved the day I arrived at VIBRA it was a very clean environment with a nice room & bed with finally a comfortable air inflated mattress! . Staff welcomed me and began to evaluate my medical history and current condition. They coordinated a plan to include managing my IV Antibiotic needs, Diabetes, pre-existing foot wounds from PAD, needs for C-pap therapy for my sleep apnea and both physical & occupational therapies. The staff from every department working at VIBRA were very caring, attentive, flexible, and helpful to ensure my condition improved daily! After this 29 day stay, I left successfully reaching my short term goal of going home. They helped make a smooth transition to some additionally needed short term home
  Health care with the necessary IV Antibiotic therapy required to eliminate any remnant of the infection. I would recommend anyone who needs this type of medical care that will assist them in reaching their long term goal of complete recovery to seek out a VIBRA facility near them. I can not give enough praise and thanks to ALL THE STAFF who helped me along my journey!!! THANK YOU VIBRA...

  It is one of the best long term acute care hospitals that renders acute care equivalent to the hospitals at a much cheaper price. Staffs render Hospital equivalent services or more in many instances. The environment is Prestine with large, visible,free,safe and accessible parking lot.

  I have been a patient at vibra for 3nights 4days. As far as hospitals go I have to say this hospital makes you as comfortable as possible. The nurses are knowledgeable and care and listen to you .also they work 12 hrs a day so you only deal with 2 nurses per day and so far I've got the same day nurse and night nurse.
  My day day nurse Tammy is super sweet she is empathetic to my concerns,fears , wants and needs. She is honest and tells you how it is and she also tells you im running a lil behind it will be a minute but she DOES ALWAYS DO WHAT SHE TOLD YOU SHE WOULD wether it be getting meds. Getting orders , calling the on call doctor. And most of all besides being nice she is easy to talk too and VERY PROFESSIONAL. I like tammy alot .My night nurse PAT is very caring and she tries to make the night as comfortable as she can. And when u get up crabby and irritated in middle of the night because she has to draw labs or whatever she still smiles and is nothing but nice. I WOULD RECOMMEND VIBRA HOSPITAL TO ANYONE???????? EVETTE STAATS

  I was recently a patient at Vibra and I must say I had a great experience there.
  The nurses were knowledgeable,courteous and well organized. The patient assistants were equally helpful. Lastly the nutrition staff "All went out of their way to accommodate my nutritional needs." Therefore I give Vibra Hospital of Northwestern Indiana 5Stars.
  P.S. Paulette in the Social Service Department was very helpful facilitating my continuum of care. Thanks Vibra Hospital of Northwestern Indiana!! I will definitely recommend you to my family and friends if GOD forbid they need Long Term Acute Care.
