It's a safe, family friendly place with a very nice gift shop area. If you choose to make the Lake County Convention Center and the hotel near by as part of your vacation itinerary, it's only a few miles from HardRock Casino off Burr exit, Munster Center for Visual & Performing Arts,the Hammond Arts Community, Wicker Park and hundreds of Northwest, Indiana spots. Hop on I-80/94 and zip for a day trip in Chicago.”
