On a new house with a cathedral ceiling, the lights over the island and dinette table were too high. Each down rod needed a three foot extension. Electricians would not do this work. Bob accepted the challenge and performed the
modifications flawlessly. His care and attention to detail warrants praise and kudos. Judy S.
I had an old railroad caboose lamp that was rusting away in my basement that I had for over 40 years. I had used the lamp, which was converted to an electric light, as a nightlight as a kid but it had not been plugged in for 40+ years. Bob meticulously restored it by taking it apart, removing all the rust, cleaning, and then painting every part. Communication with pictures along the way kept me informed of the progress. It was amazing to see! He also suggested mounting it so it would look better and not tip over easily. I was hesitant to do that at first but Bob found the perfect base to match and it looks great. It's hard to believe it's the same lamp and now my daughter will use it as I once did. Thank you, Bob, for the work. The light in the darkness looks great and your quality, talent, attention to detail, and craftsmanship really show through.
Excellent professional work. Very nice and quick turnaround. Reasonable prices considering ti converning work
Bob was really a pleasure to work with and extremely knowledgeable. He takes great care and pride in his work and wants his customers to be extremely satisfied with his work. He restored a vintage Tiffany lamp that has been in my family for generations and his work was detailed and flawless. I would use him again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much Bob!
I highly recommend Bob if you have a chandelier that needs work. He recently rewired a 40 year old ceramic chandelier for us that has been in all three homes that we have built and did a fantastic job!
Robert is extremely knowledgeable in many areas of antique lighting with a fantastic shop (love the original stenciled cabinetry around the perimeter) that has a great variety of pieces to be able to match to many different styles & time periods. It’s very surprising not to have to travel to a larger city to find someone that does this caliber of antique lighting work, even then it would be hard to find someone with his skills & experience. Amazing patina match on my leaded lamp. Thank you!

This brass student lamp, dated 1879, was found in an old barn. The pieces were replaced with similar parts.

Sieber agate is what they call this. The Sieber river is in the Harz Mountains in Germany, where this came from a centuries old copper mine. The blue river colors come from the copper minerals and this is more of a slag glass than an agate...Also the Harz mountains are haunted...
