St Ambrose is a wonderful, vibrant parish. I found it very welcoming when I joined many years ago. I enjoy the various priests and their distinct personalities. This church is full of rude insensitive people. No one holds the door open for each other. It makes me think that many of its people are snobby.
The Catholic community that grew around St Ambrose Parish beginning in the early 1800's was bound by more than a common faith; many members of the parish were also kinfolk. In 1875, Father Clavreul's successor, Father Stephen Langlade, built the first St Ambrose Church.
