“If you like small town family owned restaurants and grilled food, Leroy's Place is an excellent choice. I had the bacon double cheeseburger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever ate. My eyes were bigger than my stomach as a single would have easily filled me up. Their burgers are bigger than the bun and well worth the price. The employees were very friendly and I am looking forward to trying the breaded tenderloin on my next visit. If you're planning to visit Elwood and love hamburgers , Leroy's is the place!”

“My first visit was Mother's Day so super busy but they did great! The rose was a very nice touch. Staff was very friendly. The waitress seemed to have a hard time hearing us but like I said, it was busy. She also seemed to struggle when asked about a particular item on the menu. I ordered the Hungry Man Omelette & when it was brought out it seemed odd to me but considering I never been here before I just went with. It was delicious! Just not something I would typically order. When I questioned her after she said I said the Hungry Man Skillet. If not for that remark I probably would have given 5 stars. I will revisit in the future.”

“I love the fountain pops, fresh cookies and the awesome burritos here. They don't skimp on ingredients, they're always fresh and they make them quick. Well worth the slightly higher price tag. My only complaint is the fact that the store always looks messy after first shift. Things are left is disorder, items need stocked, trash on the floor and outside on the parking lot spilling out of overstuffed trash cans. The bathrooms often look like no one has cleaned them all day. I know the crew is busy, but it makes it look so much grosser than it is and is kinda a deterrent for some people...personally I'd stumble through pig poo to get one of those burritos!”

The buffet was kept fully supplied with fresh food and was kept very neat and clean at all times. An added plus was the A & W root beer. We drive from the Indy area to enjoy this buffet. “Pop dispenser was in need of a coke refill. Place was much cleaner than last visit. Food looked to be filled. Much better than the last time. Most food looked fresh. Some looked dry and old stacked on top of fresher food. Several of the items I tried were lacking in seasoning. A few items had no labels and at least one must have been miss labeled. The steak was cooked and seasoned well. The fried chicken legs were also cooked and seasoned well. Mac and cheese needs help. A few of the other items were in major need. The man caring for the area I was in was outstanding. Tables were quickly bussed when people left. He made sure that the people eating had what they needed. Finished plates and items were quickly removed. Drinks promptly filled. He was excellent at his job.”
