(November 2, 2016, 3:34 pm)I just saw Dr Van Gemert DO. I have never had a Dr. give me a cheaper option of getting labs done. She suggested that I go to another facility instead of going to St. Francis hospital. I like St. Francis, but my labs cost a couple hundred bucks with my insurance. This other facility can give me a basic Metabolic lab test for twenty bucks. That means a lot to me.
I also want to comment that when my blood pressure medication was up, she automatically refilled it for me. I understood I had to have an appointment for insurance purposes. She actually gave me a years worth of refills just knowing that I had made an appointment two months out. I felt like after seeing these reviews this office deserved some recognition for trying to be fair financially to its patients.
