Dr Hogg is an excellent Orthopedic Specialist with outstanding chair side mannerisms that are genuine. He's straight forward and thoroughly explains his knowledge and plan of approach. He replaced my rt shoulder and the entire team was stellar in their field. The office staff is exceptional.
In my opinion, the little things make the hugest impact on patients. Especially before during and after their journey of care.

Dr. Peter Hogg is amazing. From describing what he was seeing in the x-rays and MRI to explaining why I needed surgery, all the rehab involved, and how long I could wait to have surgery, he was THOROUGH and PATIENT with me. If you really want to understand your injury or long-term pain and what the options are, choose him! I was amazed because he even told me it was possible that my injury was so long ago, we may not have a positive outcome. His honesty reassured me!

His surgery on my rotator cuff tear was very successful. In fact, my right arm and shoulder are now stronger than my left! My shoulder was 100% pain-free once I completed all the physical therapy. He told my care team in the waiting room that it looked like I would have 100% recovery, and he was so right!! The 6-month rehab was every bit as long and challenging as he had said it was. Again, he's an honest doctor and great at explaining diagnosis, treatment, and possible outcomes.

In 2017, Dr. Hogg was also the one to tell me I did NOT need hip replacement surgery when my primary care doc suspected that I did. I spent 10 months telling my primary care doctor that my limp and left hip pain was worsening. I finally got referred to an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Hogg. After a 5-minute his physical exam of pressing my leg and asking me questions, he said, "You don't have a HIP problem. You have a BACK problem." He referred me to the Spine Center and got me in QUICKLY> After an MRI on my spine showed that he was 100% accurate, physical therapy and spinal injections improved my hip and my movement so much.

Dr. Hogg is one of the best and most thorough surgeons I have ever met. (And I have seen quite a few!) I highly recommend him!

This doctor was called in to do surgery for my Tib/Fib fracture in my leg. Very extensive and intrusive surgery. I was very impressed with the bedside manner and impressed with his care. He was very pro-patient and made sure my hospital stay post-surgery was top-notch and on top of pain management. My family said his discussion with them post-surgery was great, answering all questions they had. He’s very personable and honest. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Hogg fixed my fractured arm and rotator cuff. I had heard people having such bad results with rotator. He did an excellent job. i have complete mobility and healed quickly. Thank you Dr. Hogg.
