    Came here to see if there was anything nice to take some pictures. The area had previously flooded and then froze over making a beautiful frozen lake with an island. The trail was also flooded and frozen over that gave some nice visuals for photos.

    A good place to take your dog for a walk I've even caught a 20 pound catfish out of there So the fishing isn't bad either.

    A nice serene loop for walking, with a couple of small off shoots. Usually a very small amount of people are here so it can be pretty isolated if you can find the right place, though you might still hear the traffic. I love it in the winter.

    Nice quite scenic area. Good place to come down and spend some time fishing. The park ranger/ DNR officers are always very friendly, and i see them nearly every time I'm down here.

    Love the scenery and quiet. Great for fishing, exercise and dog walking
