Super China Buffet

Good local place for a quick bite. I always get a smile. It's a little dated... but clean.
My favorites are the black pepper chicken, the Mongolian beef, the fried fish and the fresh fruit

I have eaten here since 2003, for most of my childhood up through highschool I ate here most fridays. Now I travel to get my fix because there is nothing more comforting to me than eating at the Super China Buffet. Their BBQ chicken is insane. Garlic delicious green beans when they’re there are so so good. The mushrooms are tasty. Buttered fried potatoes forever. And Of course the best wonton soup. I love to get to go containers for the buffet and the soup. I can’t say enough about the quality of the food and the people who work there. Love to a staple of Lawrence and the comfort food forever of my heart.

Was actually much better than I'd have expected. Came at a bit of an off time but trays were being rotated out pretty frequently. Flavors were great and selection was interesting. Fried plantains were delicious and unexpected for a Chinese buffet. String beans were great and the General Tso's was with the brown sauce instead of red which I happen to prefer.
